Reporting Requirements - What do you need to report?

For cash, food, or child care assistance:

  • If you receive cash or food, you must report changes listed in WAC 388-418-0005 by the 10th of the next month after the change. For example, if you have a change today, report it by the 10th of next month.
  • If you only receive food assistance you need to tell us if your gross monthly income is more than 130 percent of the poverty level.
  • If you receive child care assistance you must report the changes listed in WAC 170-290-0031. Most changes must be reported within 10 days of the change. Changes of child care provider must be reported within 5 days of the change.
  • If you tell us about a change, we must apply that change to all your benefits.

For Washington Apple Health programs:

  • For Washington Apple Health coverage for parents with children, children, pregnant women, or as a single adult, please report changes at Washington Healthplanfinder by clicking here.
  • You must report changes listed in WAC 182-504-0105.
  • You must report changes within 30 days of the date of the change.

For Long Term Care programs:

  • You must report changes listed in WAC 182-504-0105.
  • You must report changes by the 30th of the next month after the change. For example, if you have a change today, report it by the 30th of next month.
