You can complete an online application for some public benefits programs. These involve services offered by the:
- Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).
- Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).
- Healthcare Authority (HCA).
Plan up to an hour to enter needed information. Your finished application goes directly to the right agency to review.
You will receive an annual letter with a deadline to renew your benefits. You may hear this called an eligibility review. This is different from the six-month Mid-Certification Review (MCR).
You can complete an online renewal here for:
- Cash
- Child Care
- Food
- Long Term Services and Supports
- Medical
You can report a change online for people in your household who receive benefits. This keeps your benefits correct.
You should report:
- A new address
- A new job
- Monthly income going up or down
- Shelter costs going up or down
- Someone moving into or out of the home
- Passing away of household member on DSHS benefits
Your program may require a mid-certification review (MCR). This usually happens six months into your year-long benefits period.
You will receive a letter if a review is coming up. And you can check the Important Dates page in your Client Benefit Account. Complete reviews by the deadline so you still get the benefits you are eligible to receive.
